Real Wedding | Twin Willow Gardens
Nikki and Ian eloped in 2020 and decided to throw a big party with all their loved ones in 2021. They stumbled upon Twin Willow Gardens in Snohomish, Washington and were taken by the venue’s beautiful property: vast, well-tended gardens, a wooded ceremony, and a large white tent to hold all their guests.
We created a design to complement and showcase the venue’s natural beauty. Twin Willow Gardens has a huge, iconic wooden arch under the trees, which we draped a delicate ivory fabric for the ceremony. We also lined the aisle with low, garden-style arrangements in maroon, burgundy, caramel, butterscotch, and a variety of greenery.
The reception focal point was the three foliage chandeliers hanging over the guest tables. To continue with the garden wedding theme, we brought in vineyard cross-back chairs, neutral linens, copper display cases with ivory pillar candles, amber votives, floral bud vases, and black metal stands displaying floral arrangements for each table.
Ian’s brother, Paul, wore Nikki’s elopement gown and surprised Ian during what was supposed to be his first look with Nikki (she was in on it). Paul also presented Ian with a Smirnoff Ice behind a bouquet.
